WOYWW 601

It was lovely to meet you all on Saturday and put names and faces to blogs. Thank you Julia https://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/for arranging it all. Here's to the next 600.

So for the view of my desk this week, I said I was having a wool clear out here is the table with just some of the wool. Only thrown very small balls away and I have a bin liner full to take to knitting group this morning. A lady there knits coats and blankets for the dogs.

Then to the other table where I have put half finished garments etc. These will get finished sometime.

These are the squares I am knitting when I watch TV the browny crocheted ones are for a throw for my chair, and the pinky ones for a cover for my bed.

Another busy day today after sewing I am going for a  Christmas lunch with the Wednesday afternoon group, had one on Saturday also, then next Wednesday I have the sewing group Christmas lunch. Good job I am on my own for Christmas as I don't think I will be able to face any more turkey by then.

We are still confined to our town until new announcements on 12th December. I expect this won't change until after Christmas, New Year or even 3 Kings.

Stay safe everyone. Ani

  4. Knitting in front of the TV is a great activity so my Mother and Mother in Law tell me, those squares will make great blankets and covers so cosy. Glad you also managed to make the online crop. Enjoy your meet up's this week stay safe. Happy WoywW Tracey #7 x

  5. Happy WOYWW. Very satisfying to have a good sort out. No Christmas get-togethers here. Not allowed in Wales. Just seen a local cafe we love is offering a Christmas menu for the next 2 Sundays. Might see if hubby has some free time. I love turkey and all the trimmings. We can go as a household, and can even take our masks off when we are sat at the table. It is so wonderful when we don't have to wear a mask (my glasses steam up and I get very hot). Mojacar is definitely a lovely place to be confined to, although I know we all want to get back to travelling next year. Ali x #16

  14. Hi Ani, you're so right it was brilliant on Saturday and can't wait to do it again. I thought I'd never get to the posts today, three deliveries of craft stuff, one delivery of a surprise raffle prize, walking dogs, sorting mum's vaccination, trying to finish some cards and that's without the usual stuff like cooking Lol! Loving the squares they are going to make a great blanket. Wishing you a lovely creative week, Angela x19x
