WOYWW 528

Good morning from a still very hot Mojacar. Hence nothing much to show this week.

Remember the Cross in your Pocket well I had a call for some more, so while watching the Mens singles tennis final I made these. It's not many but the match was too exciting.

Have also made a few more cards this week but nothing to show.

This funny made me laugh.
That is me short and sweet this week, I am off to my knit and natter group, although I am not knitting much this weather, will probably take some more crosses to do. There was only about 6 of us last week, most of our members go back to the UK for the summer and for others it was just too hot to venture out.

Have a good crafting week and will not link up with our host Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com

  3. the crosses look brilliant - I was trying to watch the tennis and the cricket and the F1 on Sunday - certainly wouldn't have been able to concentrate on crafting too! I had a good chuckle at the funnies. Helen #6

  6. I love your crosses. Just another talent you have! I had to laugh at the funny you posted as we have been pretty hot here lately. But it is summer and I live in the South of the US. I think yesterday it was 96 degrees.

  7. That's a very good result, I would say, for sitting in front of the telly a couple of hours. I don't envy you for the heat - I would find it unbearable, which is funny as I was brought up in Europe. I remember those hot summers and now I wonder how I survived. Now I even find British summers too hot - I should move to Canada LOL! Hope you'll get a little respite from the relentless heat. zsuzsa #23

  8. Love that grid of melted plastics!! I agree with Zsuzsa, great number of crosses considering the circs...i was less excited by the tennis, but the cricket had us roaring!

  9. Hi Ani, oh my - that must be hot melting traffic lights - laughed aloud at the last pic! I confess I didn't watch the tennis or the cricket, we had our grandsons to visit at weekend, and they just want to be out in the garden or at the park. Well done on being so productive though - the crosses are gorgeous. I'd love to go to a knit and natter group - but I can't knit, and work full time. Maybe I'll take it up when I retire! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #11

  11. The crosses are lovely, what a great idea. Hope you enjoy your Knit and Natter group, I've started going to one myself and they call themselves Craft and Chat so I imagine they are pretty similar, more chat than craft! Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x13x

  12. Hi Ani, yes I read how hot it was in Spain, I'm sure knitting would have been most unpleasant. Eyes have cleared enough to be able to type now, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #16 X

  13. Hi Ani, that was a long final on Sunday. I almost finished knitting a sock whilst watching - that is, when I wasn't biting my nails. The funny made me laugh too. Hope the weather cools for you soon. Elizabeth x #24

  14. I love the cross in my pocket - I still have one I was given years ago, and love it. The final was incredible wasnt it? I only caught the last set but it was so tense. Have a great week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#14)
