This is my desk today (well Tuesday night actually).
I am planning 'C' items for my stalls in November. One can never start too early.
I have an idea for Christmas Owls along with an owl poem I found online. So what you see are some owl templates I have cut out, (save all cereal boxes for making templates), can't decide which to use yet, on the left is the felt I purchased today. a 40 x 60 piece for 75c.

The above is a contribution from QC the cat who just came to say hello.
Trying to replace cards I have sold seems to be an unending task. People tend to buy 3 at a time. don't think I will ever build up a big stock.
This appeared on my fb page last week wonder how many of you like me say yes that's my wardrobe.
That's me done for this week hope you all have a good week, thanks for your visit and hopefully I will get around to visit yours before the weekend.
I don't have the heat as excuse for not much activity, done nothing here either.... good luck refilling your card supply! Helen #2
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to get your card stash sorted soon. The owls look like a great idea for C. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteI think your cat says it all about the heat you have been experiencing. Fab pics. I know what you mean about the card pile, I tend to batch make now then put the sentiments on after. Finding designs that suit many an occasion saves me so much time. Good luck with those C cards.

My card stash has virtually disappeared... so I know the feeling! I am sure you will manage to replenish it soon. Sorry you are suffering with the heat but the kitties are probably enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Love the cat! Such a sweet face. Just come on out and say it...Christmas! I've been trying to make a card here and there along the way and have just ordered some new stamps and dies for this Christmas! Happy WOYWW Glenda #16
ReplyDeleteHaha, my 'for when I get thinner' wardrobe is way over 25 percent! I love the owls, but can't get my mind to 'Christmas' yet... you are way early with thinking about the end of the year! Say #@%agttgrtarrtmmmmmmm to QC from me! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #18
ReplyDeleteLove the trio photo and I hope you get a cooler few days coming so you can keep crafting.

Hi Ani, love the funny. I saw that too, and yes, I reckon it's pretty much spot on! I did see your question last week, yes, The Works does have an online presence. You may have to email and ask if they ship to Europe though. I need to get back into C Card making, I think. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X
ReplyDeleteOOh fun, I think I have not ever thought to do owls for Christmas. and yep, I think my for when I get thinner is way over 25% lol. ~Stacy #23
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how ideas come to fruition! Owls for Christmas sounds awesome. Glad your cards are selling so well, it must feel so nice to know that people like them so much! I've been saving lots of boxes lately as well, for templates as well as other things. I started doing Kon Mari in the new year, didn't get much past the clothes, so actually, I actually wear about 95% of what I now have! I got rid of a lot of stuff...have a great week, Lindart #24
ReplyDeleteChristmas Owls sound wonderful. How fantastic that your cards are selling so well. I havent had time to make enough cards for selling for a few years so admire those who can. Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#15)
ReplyDeleteYou're not on your own making Christmas cards - a lot of folk are participating in Christmas in July this month. It's a good idea if you don't want to be rushing in December. I'd never make enough to sell, that's for sure. Love your cat. Have a lovely evening and a great week ahead. Elizabeth x #25
ReplyDeleteOh ive got finger trouble with the numbers, sorry! I am admiring your Christmas plans but not joining you yet! It’s great that your cards sell so well.. prolly means you’ll not have time to set foot outside when it’s cooler though!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Lol! I have to agree with the wardrobe list sadly. Good to hear your cards are selling so well but I understand it means more work. Don't know how you can manage the heat, I am not a lover myself. Nice kitty. Wishing you a lovely week and a happy woyww, Angela x14x
ReplyDeleteHope the heat slacks off! We're so thankful for central air conditioning.
ReplyDeleteYour owls look pretty cool from what I can see. And so wonderful that your cards are selling! What a great dilemmma! Have a great week!
