WOYWW 451

Apologies to all I just didn't get round to reading all posts last week. Don't know where the week went to. Wednesday's are a busy day for me as in the morning I go to my sewing/knitting group, then a quick trip home and out again for my Ladies of Leisure group. Ha ha Ladies of Leisure that's a laugh.

This week I finished off four of the doggy coats and along with some my friend knitted they are on their way to keep the doggies warm at the dogs home.

I really want to find time this next week to make some cards especially having purchased three lots of assorted card from a trip to Lidl yesterday.

I occasionally get some good buys from Lidl offers, and this week also purchased a lamp much needed for my computer table. It is so bright shows all the dust up.

While searching through my stash for wool for the doggy coats I came across this red mohair haven't a clue where it came from, how long I have had it or even what I purchased it to knit. I really must not buy any more wool but on Monday there is a one day sale of wool at a lady's house who sells UK brands. No no no I shall not go.

I really need to get all my craft making material stock down and not buy any more. I think if I lived to be 100 I would still have loads left. Do you think hypnosis would work?

Well that is me done for this WOYWW will now link up with Julia our host stamping-ground.blogspot.com and promise I will try and visit all this week.

  2. Morning Ani. Nah! Shouldn't bother with hypnosis - just keep plodding on using everything. My own cupboard of shame (my name for it, no-one else's) is filled almost to the top - but suddenly people will ask "Do you have any...?" and lo and behold... there it is for them! Enjoy those new papers.
    Take care. God bless

  3. Hope you find some nice wool bargains next Monday - look forward to seeing the results next week! that red mohair is beautiful - I have a long neglected jumper I was knitting out of mohair, it was a nightmare to work with, too hot - no doubt that's why it got abandoned. Still have it though! Have a good week. Helen #1

  7. I admire your wish for restraint. One of these days I might manage it myself for more than a week lol (although I deliberately avoided Lidl last week when they had their craft offers). Love the doggy coats! Sarah #18

  8. I would go to the wool lady's house, just for the socialising, but perhaps leave your payment methods at home! Love the doggy coats, very cheerful! I find a bright lamp a necessity in the evenings, so I think this was a good purchase. Draw pictures in the dust and admire your art!!

  9. Resistance is futile!! Go to the sale and indulge in a couple of balls, they'll always be handy. Those doggy coats are brilliant - please can you tell me what pattern you use as the local animal charity to me could probably do with a couple. They're such a fun and a brilliant way to stash bust!!

  10. Hi Ani, I'm laughing here at your comments about stash! I think I'd need 3 lifetimes at least to use up all mine. What are we like? So happy your Cousin also had no serious issues, we were both incredibly lucky. Saw the pics of you cat modelling the doggie coats! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX

  11. Your doggy coats are fabulous - with the weather we've been having lately I know quite a few dogs that would appreciate them! I had to laugh about your red wool - I think we all find things like that in our stash - I hope you put it to good use.
    Have a great week,

  12. The thing is, Anne - buying craft supplies makes us happy - proving that you CAN buy happiness, so why not? The doggie coats will look so cute with some doggies in them! That lamp is just what I'm looking for! Thanks so much for visiting earlier! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #7

  13. Hi Ani, Dog coats are very snazzy. My two girls are jealous.

We have a Lidle opening soon in the village. It's a new build, so has taken some time. Will have to look out for the bargains.

Sounds like the lamp has a daylight bulb. I have a SAD lamp and that is extremely bright.

That red wool is lovely. Surely you will go to the wool sale. It would be rude not to:) LOL

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Happy WOYWW

  17. it is not dust but art sprinkles by a special fairy.I am on a no buying sprees and feel it is such a waste to place an order for one item. Love the color of that wool. Sounds like a fun week a head. Good that cats don't need woollies as I would be covered in scratches

  19. I think the same thing. If I craft until I am 100, there is not way I will use all the paper that I have, or all the other supplies! And, no that train of thought does not work, because even today I got a Tim Holtz Sizzix die for $5.00 because I just couldn't pass it up! It was a wreath and a lamp post. Who, could pass that up? Happy WOYWW! #34

  21. Look into my eyes, follow my finger - stop buying wool.
No, guess it won't work with me trying for you.
Lovely doggy coats but what drew me in was the bargain Lidl. Why do they always have bargains when I am away? Not to worry.
Hugs 7 Thanks for visiting me whilst I was sleeping x

  24. Happy Belated WOYWW...just getting around the desks. Cute doggie coats! Mine would never wear one though (but she's a husky...so...) I'm torn with your hypnosis hypothesis; It would be nice to no longer have the urge to buy more stash; but....I like buying more stash! LOL! Thanks for visiting, and have a great week.
