WOYWW 452

Thank you for all your visits and comments last week, I did get round to reading and replying to all I could.

So what is on my work desk this evening absolutely nothing apart from QC the cat who's just about managed to find a spot to sit.

Well I say nothing but this isn't my craft desk this is my computer table. As you can see the lamp I purchased last week is in use. Left is a pile of 'Yours' magazines that require reading some going back months even years. The book on top is my work book, all things I undertake go in here when asked to do them so I don't forget. Behind the cat are replacement inks and as you can see on the screen my blog for this week.

The reason I have nothing to show is because I have hardly been at home. Out for coffees etc, then on Sunday a coach load of us went to La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre about 2 hours away. I was very good and didn't make a purchase but enjoyed the day with friends.

My friend from UK has returned to Mojacar for a few months so Tuesday she invited me to lunch and view her rented villa. She has also planned outings for us both in the coming days so I think my crafting may suffer somewhat.

We all have to have a break sometime and who knows I may return to my desk with new ideas.

WOYWW 451

Apologies to all I just didn't get round to reading all posts last week. Don't know where the week went to. Wednesday's are a busy day for me as in the morning I go to my sewing/knitting group, then a quick trip home and out again for my Ladies of Leisure group. Ha ha Ladies of Leisure that's a laugh.

This week I finished off four of the doggy coats and along with some my friend knitted they are on their way to keep the doggies warm at the dogs home.

I really want to find time this next week to make some cards especially having purchased three lots of assorted card from a trip to Lidl yesterday.

I occasionally get some good buys from Lidl offers, and this week also purchased a lamp much needed for my computer table. It is so bright shows all the dust up.

While searching through my stash for wool for the doggy coats I came across this red mohair haven't a clue where it came from, how long I have had it or even what I purchased it to knit. I really must not buy any more wool but on Monday there is a one day sale of wool at a lady's house who sells UK brands. No no no I shall not go.

I really need to get all my craft making material stock down and not buy any more. I think if I lived to be 100 I would still have loads left. Do you think hypnosis would work?

Well that is me done for this WOYWW will now link up with Julia our host stamping-ground.blogspot.com and promise I will try and visit all this week.

WOYWW 450

Good morning well it is morning although just gone midnight.

Another week in 2018 gone. At last it has been a happy week for me, my daughter and partner are on holiday in Goa and he proposed to her on the beach whilst having cocktails and the sun going down. Very romantic. Of course she said yes, so a wedding to look forward to possibly next year.

I have nothing on my inside desk this week as I have been knitting the dog coats sat outside in the sun. If the sun is shining it is warmer outside than in. Have completed two, a small and a medium and have just started a large one. As you can see my quality controller was checking up on me.

Having no dog to model them I hope they are ok.

That is me for this week need to get to bed, sewing group at 10.00am then Ladies over Lunch in the afternoon. Wednesday is a busy day for me.

Must just show you this with all the talk on plastics this week. I ordered four ink cartridges from PC Components and they came in two big boxes with blown up polythene packing. All four would have gone in the smallest box. How wasteful.

WOYWW 449

Good morning fellow deskers from a much colder Spain than last week. Time to bring out the coats and gloves. You may laugh but when your body gets use to summer temperatures of high 30's  a temperature of 8C is cold.

So to my desk/table this week, I thought I would sort some of my wool and bag up odd bits to use for blanket squares, baby hats etc. This is just a small amount of what I have.
But wait there is more, more wool and even more wool after yesterday. A friend and I decided to have a day out in the city of Almeria to visit the wool/craft shop I mentioned a few weeks ago and yes you've guessed it I couldn't resist and purchased yet more wool.
My excuse is this is to go with some browny colour Aran wool I found in my stash and put together will crochet a rather nice throw for my old comfy armchair.  This was all I did buy not saying what my friend purchased!

I belong to a facebook page for a local dogs home and they are asking for dog bandanas, knitted dog coats etc to stock a stall at a local fair. So with some of the wool in my stash I started on the journey of knitting a dog coat never having done one before. I found the pattern on the internet and this is the work in progress so to speak. The colour is royal blue and yellow. Will report next week on the finished item. Not too sure about the instructions on the pattern though.

Following on from my ship picture last week, I noticed this one two days ago, apparently a drilling ship according to the website vessel finder. Perhaps next week we will see the oil platform being erected.

That is me for this week now to link up with Julia stamping-ground.blogspot.com (hopefully my link will work this week) apologies for last week but hadn't installed the link on my new Hard drive. Thank you for your comments those of you who managed to find me.

WOYWW 448

Well here we are the first WOYWW of 2018 A Happy New Year to all.

Not much on the table today but I have made a start on some card making. Promised myself this after all the sewing I had done recently. Something about card making makes me relax. The first card I have made is for a friend who does quilting and saw this on Pinterest (see top right) which resembles same. Made one then thought I would do another but different paper.

Second pic is my TV work like to do something when watching TV or I fall asleep. Decided I needed a new Christmas jumper so on a recent visit to the wool shop bought this bright red wool. I haven't managed to finish it for this Christmas but it will be ready for next! I am knitting plain and thought I would embroider some white snow flakes on the front.

The last picture made me laugh when I saw this ship from my terrace could make out whether is was a real ship or someones toy, or maybe they ran out of paint. haha what do you think?

So that is me for this week, will be around before weekend to visit you all, I apologise if I don't always leave comments but I do try and read all.
