WOYWW 639

Good morning Ladies, well I woke up this morning to rain yes rain bliss.

Still not much going on craftwise in this household.

I have finished the blanket and another item for the charity bag to go back to the uk when my daughter drives back.

Sorry but that is it for this week short, very short and sweet I need to go out in the rain!

Looking to join up with Julia and the rest of you at https://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

Saw this on fb and thought it was funny.

  2. That pic made me hoot, I think I’ve turned into one of those ladies quite a while ago. I always think of Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough as Cissy and Ada, hoisting up their bosoms while gossiping, lol! Great blanket, love the colours and I hope you dance in the rain!

Enjoy the smell of the rain on the earth, one of my favourite smells.

  7. I hope the rain has served to cool things down a bit, Ani, and not just made it more humid. I remember being in Hong Kong just before the Monsoon broke and the humidity made the heat unbearable! The blanket is lovely. That funny is totally brilliant - made me laugh out loud!

Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my various projects this week. It's been a busy week but really fun. I think your kitty has every right at her age, and in such heat, to be lazy! Our two have rather less excuse.

  9. Oh my your funny is brilliant, it reminds me of the small mining village where my parents lived. There are still rows of pit houses that look just like this when the women stayed at home looking after their children while their husbands went down the mine, those were the days! Not really! Nice blanket too. Wishing you a lovely and creative woyww, Angela x6x

  16. Luckily we not only have the old version of Windows now during the pandemic ... Then maybe it would have been called "What do you have in your window this week?" LOL
The blanket you made is very nice.

    Have a cozy weekend!
