WOYWW 637 18th August 2021

Good morning from a sweltering Spain.

No desk or work to show this week and below is the reason  why. Just too hot to do anything no cooking, cleaning etc. Hopefully temperatures will begin to fall this next week. The trouble with living on the coast is the high humidity.

QC says hi it's been a while since she has sat by the computer. She is now over 16yrs and is certainly feeling the heat this year. Only goes out about 10pm for a wander then back inside.

So that is me for this week weather permitting there will be something to show next week. Sorry ladies.
Hope you all have a good week.

  1. I've been watching the dreadful temperatures across Europe on the news and just can't imagine the feeling. Of course it doesn't help that here our houses aren't built to cope with it . Hope you get some relief from it soon. Take care. Helen #2

  2. I do hope it cools down for you soon Ani (and for QC and Barney too). I am not surprised that nothing gets done with temperatures that hot! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

  3. I get cross if the temps go above 26 so I can’t imagine how you’re coping with that heat - I’m in sympathy with the cat! She’s looking good for 16, my puss Ron is nearly 20 and doing amazingly well, that’s what comes of having human slaves catering to your every need, lol!!

  4. Wow! That's a lot of heat. I hope it cools down soon for you. I would love for us to have a little more warmth (up to 22-23 as we were at 16 yesterday) but not that! Your cat is gorgeous. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#17)

  5. So sorry you are having excessive heat where you are. Glad I am not venturing to Spain this year, it would knock me out. So glad your lovely little cat is staying in, hope it is cool inside for you both, and she is being sensible and doing a nightly walk only.
    Take care

  6. Sympathies with the excessive heat. By contrast the weather here is dull and rain inclined! A partial swap would be good. Have a great week Angela #4

  9. It just doesn’t matter, as long as you’re managing the heat, who cares if you’re doing stuff. Are you the type to wait for eveninnng and then go to the beach for swimming and if available, cool winds? Everything is such an effort in those huge temps.

  12. That's an impressive map, Ani. Just looking at it brings one out in a sweat! Wha a beautiful kitty you have. She certainly doesn't look her age! I hope you both manage to survive the heat and that it will reduce soon so that you can go back to being creative again.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
