WOYWW 554 15th January

Good morning Ladies and here we are half way through January. Time passes so quickly. Thankfully all the celebrations have now finished and the town hall removed all the roadside decorations yesterday. Next big holiday in our region Dia de Andalucia 28th February.
So on to my desk. well that is not back in action yet, but have been busy with a little sewing and knitting.
My leg warmers finished and ready for wearing feel as I am going back in time, starting on some wrist warmers next.

Next four 'dammit dolls' sold out at Christmas and was asked for some more.
This week must start on some Valentines cards as I will be asked for them in the next weeks.

That is me for today, off to sewing/knitting group we have a new venue for a few weeks while our usual restuarant/bar take a well earned six weeks holiday. Hope it is warm may be a good idea to take my leg warmers.

  2. Loving your leg warmers but cannot imagine you needing to wear them living in Spain. Somehow I always think of it as summer over there.
Hope you show us some photos when you have your next festival - something I would love to see - festivals abroad always fascinate me.
Why are your dolls called 'dammit dolls" please.
    Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  5. It’s not just you Ani, leg warmers are a bit of a thing here, and boot cuffs. Knitted toppers that tuck into the top of your boot so the gap between boot and knee is warm too! The sight of so many Dammits makes me smile!

  15. I had never heard of a "dammit doll"! I had to Google it! It was what I thought it probably would be! Yours are very cute, I don't know if I could use it it the way it was supposed to be used! Love the leg warmers, would come in good use today with all the snow we are getting in Ontario! Have a great week, Lindart #20
