But I awake this morning to the sun (must be back from his Easter break in the UK) so possibly all the rain is now gone until after the summer. I never complain when it rains as we need rain here.
Now to my desk busy, busy, busy. The first is my computer table and the second the main table I work on. Swivelling between the two on my chair.
This is the working desk glueing, sticking etc. No room for the cat she was very put out. The playing cards are from a charity shop, someone wanted a card for a bridge player. I work in a local charity shop one day a week and am always on the look out for old games jigsaws etc that I can use. Needs must when you can't just drop into Hobbycraft or similar.
The paper table each of the boxes contains paper, card, patterned paper etc. One box contains ribbons, tapes. The bag I won in a raffle thought it would be great for travelling with but with only taking a hand luggage case can't take it now.
Only another week until I jet off to Crete for my daughter's wedding, this next week is a week of pampering for me. Need all the treatment I can get.
Now to link up with Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ hope over to her site and read what it is all about.
Have a happy crafting week.
I did hear first hand about the weather over there as a neighbour had treated herself to a 4 day Easter break. So sorry about the parade but we did enjoy our moment of sunshine. Wishing your Daughter all the best for next week Happy Wedding Day & Blessings for the future ahead.

Ah, an exciting countdown week for you, how fun. What a marvellous get together a wedding is anyway, but on Crete, it will be lovely. I saw lots of video of the bad weather over the weekend, it was quite dramatic in parts, but as you say, rain is really quite useful!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting Anne. The countdown commences. Glad the sun has returned, the weather is starting to turn here so we must have sent it back lol. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #6

Hi Ani, how lovely to have a wedding in Crete. We do love that island. We had amazing weather in the UK for Easter, can't think how many years it's been since we didn't have a cold, wet bank holiday!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Glad that the rains have left you now (they are in Wales now!). The scenes from Denia and Javea were awful - lots of flooding. We had been thinking about getting a seaside apartment in Denia, but now my heart is set on a property up in one of the valleys (and not on the flat part!). Enjoy your coming week. Ali x #25
ReplyDeleteYes we were warmer than Spain for Easter but it's wet again now. Enjoy your pampering Helen #1
ReplyDeleteWhat fun busy desks - we are the opposite here in the UK bright sun over the Easter weekend with rain setting in now. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW and have a great week. With love and God Bless, Caro x (#20)
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame about the weather - I heard we had it hotter than Spain over here for Easter, but now we are back to normal and it's raining today! Enjoy your week, counting down to the wedding - I hope it all goes beautifully for you all.
