Good morning all on this special anniversary and congratulations to Julia http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ who keeps us all in order.
Yes I am back and recovering slowly from my daughters wedding in Crete. Although I say it myself she looked absolutely beautiful and so happy. Their wedding theme was travel hence the cake, the favours were little suitcases, menus in passport holders, place names luggage labels etc. Even hangover bags containing coffee, rennies, mints, paracetamol (there were a few who needed them I can tell you.
This was the finished horseshoe with a difference I made them and it was greatly admired.
Now to my desk which is slowly becoming its usual untidy state, I came home to requests for a few special birthday cards so back to work. This is beginning of a seventieth one when inspiration strikes. The card on the left is a mixture of pattern and plain card I sometimes get on offer at our local Lidl.
It sounds like the perfect wedding and a lovely bride, too. So glad you enjoyed yourself. Looks like some crafty goodness on your desk, too. Happy 10th from # 5.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful theme for a wedding and what wonderful extras there were. I love the idea of the passports, tiny suitcases etc. The Rennies made me smile though and I can imagine how useful they came the next morning for some. Love your horseshoe! What a super idea. Lovely bride and groom - you must have been so proud.

Happy anniversary, so glad we 'meet' almost every Wednesday. I feel blessed to be part of this crafty, creative, nice and supporting online tribe! A wedding in Crete sounds amazing... and it enlightens our mother's heart to see our children be happy, isn't it? Good luck picking up the 'daily work' again, enjoy your day! Hugs and kisses from the Netherlands. Marit #17

I’m really late Ani, so sorry. lovely pic of your gal and her groom, great to hear that it all went beautifully, nothing so nice as an occasion swirling with love and goodwill. I bet you were one of the few that were weather acclimatised! Good luck with the card commissions...I always find my inspiration deserts me in such circs!
