WOYWW 469

That was the week that was. So many posts to read and I managed them all and commented also. I didn't take part in the ATC's this year so made the promise to visit all and comment.

So we start a 10th year of WOYWW wonder if this is the longest weekly blog site?

Another busy week - forgot how much work a puppy is, but he is coming along great considering I have only had him two weeks. He walks well on the lead but is nervous of other dogs and people, sits and gives his paw on command and sleeps all night and dare I say it no accidents.

My desk this week, 'C' cards all cleared away (have made about 40) but was asked for three 50th anniversary cards and ordinary anniversary cards and like always wanted yesterday. Only another 50th to do now.

This was the moon shining over the sea last night about 9.30, couldn't wait for it to go dark when it would light up the sea. Also the colour isn't too good as it was bright orange. I have an all singing all dancing camera but only shoot on auto, don't understand all the other numbers and letters.

Ok that's me done for this week, enjoy the coming week and happy crafting whatever it is.

  1. I can never get good shots of the moon either, I can never be bothered to get the tripod out. Well done on your commissions - hope you get them all done in time! Happy WOYWW Helen #1

  2. Goodness, you have been busy, Annie. Lovely cards. I was very sorry not to join in the ATC swap this year but despite this I’ve received a couple of ATCs anyway, for which I am so grateful. Love the photo of the moon. Like you, I’ve got an all-singing all-dancing camera but only use “intelligent auto” lol! I always put every photo I take through my photo editor and can usually correct things that haven’t come out right.

  3. PS Meant to say, I think you must have an impossibly good puppy! I’ve never heard of one making such good progress when so young! My sister’s is no longer a puppy but still known as “the hooligan” at the agility classes she takes her to! She’s very naughty!

  6. How lovely to hear that the pup is doing well (and you!) and that the card requests are continuing. Is there a camera club local to you? You might find it helps you get off the automatic switch!

  8. Nice to see your new pup is doing well and there have been no accidents. You are so lucky, because you got Barney after he had been left with no real training for so long.

I don't make cards, and I see why, since yours look so beautiful. Happy WOYWW from #10.

  9. Hi Ani, the camera comment made me smile- I have one like that, and only ever use the auto, lol. Good that the pup is doing so well. I hate being time pressured by people wanting cards, so I have a rough rule now that I need at least one weeks notice. Only this week I had someone ask me for a wedding card by PM on Tuesday morning, and she wanted it Thursday! Annoying, as she'd obviously known about the wedding long ago enough to have booked time off work, and flights to Poland! So I'm afraid it didn't happen. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

  10. Hi Ani, now that made me smile about your camera as I have to admit I tend to stick with the automatic settings as all the other stuff is a bit scary! But it looks like we're all as bad as each other Lol! Sounds like you've been busy too making cards it's seems like this time of the year for it. Have a lovely woyww and happy crafting, Angela x16x

  11. Happy WOYWW. A puppy! You brave woman. Couldn't cope with one again - an 11 year old Jack Russell is enough work and worry. I just use my smart phone for photos (and most other things) - and I also keep it on the Auto settings. The photos look good enough to me, in fact even a friend who is a professional photographer (with huge cameras/lenses) says that my phone takes a good photo! You are certainly busy with your crafting. We cannot get out to Spain again until at least August, as we are in the middle of sorting out someone to run the farm on a contract, and then hubby will have more time to get away. It has been nice weather here, but I do miss the beautiful scenery/food and the friends that we are making up in the Northern Costa Blanca. Ali x #22

  12. Hi Ani. I also have a super-duper-all-singing-all-dancing camera - and stick to auto! I really should use all the stops - but never seem to have much time to find out all about them... I rarely use the camera on my phone as I can't upload from it. Haven't found whatever button or setting it takes (my kids can't find it either, so am quite encouraged!!) I really like your cards - well done.
    Take care. God bless.

  14. Hi Ani, I have a camera but rarely use it. My tablet or phone tends to be used more and the quality is good. Your moon photo looks charming! Have a lovely week Heather x #13

  16. Those cards are lovely Ani! I just noticed the marble floor - nightmare if you drop something, forgiving if you don’t hoover straight after a session, brilliant! So glad that Barney is settling, a whole night’s sleep certainly helps!
