WOYWW 464

Good morning all,
What have I been up to this last week, card making and more card making. This is my table not unlike last weeks photo but more bits and pieces being piled on.

I now have a stock of over 100 made cards - mostly birthday cards but am adding others as I go. This desk may look untidy but I know where everything is. haha. Just wonder where the cat is!

This is my box of cards in the front are specials made to order. Decided the best way was to section them with laminated dividers.

My TV task this week (can't sit and watch TV and do nothing as I fall asleep)  was this twiddle muff, someone at the knitting group was making one for her nephew, so thought I would try and if successful take to our morning carers centre on Thursday to see if they are interested. It still needs more attachments so will complete at knit and natter this morning.

Summer is slowly creeping on us here in Spain, I just love this time of the year, the tourists aren't here yet, the days are getting warmer and longer, all the gardens are being planted ready for the influx of summer visitors. One thing I do comment on is bars and restaurants leave their tables and chairs out all night and they are still there in the morning, and the plants pots along the pavements remain upright. Couldn't really see this in the UK well not where I used to live.

Hope you all have a good week now to link up with our host at stamping-ground.blogspot.com

Firstly I apologise for not commenting on posts last week I did read most of them but on my Kindle when out and about, I just can't type very well on the Kindle or mobile.

Nothing exciting here today I have just finished doing all the inserts and bagging up the cards I have made this week. Not sure if I can keep it up if sales continue to carry on as they have the last few weeks. Have sold 40 cards in the last two weeks and that needs some work to replace.

In between card making I managed to make about 35 lavender bags, some lavender someone had left over and it seemed a shame not to use it. Sold 9 of them  on Monday at our Dames AGM.

Noticed my amaryllis has flowered this week four flowers and another stem at the bottom. Must admit I have ignored it this year and didn't trim the leaves when they died back but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. It could possibly do with re-potting this year as the bulb is rather large. Can't recall how long I have had it but it has flowered every year.

Managed to get out on Saturday and went to listen to 'The Tunas' - they are groups of minstrels from the universities and come to Mojacar for the weekend competition. They must have been extremely hot in their costumes as the temperatures were in the 20's.

Had to laugh at this photo when they had finished singing they all crowded onto the bus to take them to the village. The poor driver. It was a case of how many Tunas can you get on a yellow bus.

That is all for this week I will try and visit and comment but won't be until tomorrow as I have my knitting group this morning and then my ladies group in the afternoon.

Life is never dull here in Spain. ☀☀

Good morning 'work deskers' hope you are all in good health and your winter weather is slowly disappearing. It certainly is here in Spain but we have the usual afternoon high winds.

My work desk today is very messy but that's how I work best. I am continuing to make cards for outlets, finding it hard going sometimes to keep the stock up. At least the floor is clean decided to pick all the papers up as the cat thought they were there for her to chew and make more mess.

Was at Lidl 9.00 am on Monday for their offer on water crayons and brushes also purchased some punches along with some crinkly scissors and some ribbons. Last time they had the crayons etc on offer they had all gone by the time I got there at 11.00 am.

Last week I was making the tea light cards have managed 3 of them and here they are.

Collected my car from the garage yesterday afternoon so am now mobile again, without it for over a week and how I missed it, only went out one day last week - can't miss my sewing/knitting group and Wednesday afternoon women's group. Did give me chance to do a number of jobs in house though and catch up on cards and sewing.

This appeared on my face book page last week and it made me chuckle. I never know what all the abbreviations the youngster use today I must be getting old, what do I mean 'must be getting' I am old.

Now ready to link up with Julia our host for the posts at stamping-ground.blogspot.com why not join in with this fun WOYWW blogs. If you visit please leave a comment.

WOYWW 461

Good morning all, another Wednesday where does the week go to.

Hope you all had a good Easter, it was very busy here with the bars and hotels opening for trade, wonder if they will remain open seeing as Easter was early.

This was QC sat surveying my work earlier this week, she knows she isn't allowed on the table so this was the next best place the back of the sofa.

This was my desk Tuesday evening only 30 minutes earlier you couldn't see any table I just had to put some things away. On the table is a tea light card in the making. It is years since I made them but have lots of coloured tea lights so thought a good idea to use them.

I have no transport this week my car is having an oil leak repaired, it has been leaking oil for months so thought it about time it was repaired. Also a few weeks ago someone reversed into me so having that repaired but that's an insurance job. Without a car I am isolated I can walk down my hill to the beach road and there is a bus every 30 mins along the coast road, but coming back is a different matter as I am not fit enough to climb the hill, it is known as cardiac hill round here. I will catch the bus to my sewing/knitting group and have arranged for a friend to pick me up and take me to my Wednesday Women's group in the afternoon and another friend to take me home.

Well one good thing about being housebound is I am able to catch up on craft work. This week has seen me make at least 10 cards, sew 26 dog bandanas, and make 10 cross in your pocket.

Last week I posted a photo of the sunset, well these photos were taken the next morning, it took just under 5 minutes from the first photo to the last. This time of the year the sunset and sunrises are beautiful.

So that is me for this week off to join the rest now via our host Julia stamping-ground.blogspot.com go along and read the posts and don't forget to leave a comment when you visit. Ani
