Now for my work desk, I have not one to show you, all is packed away ready for Christmas, but be warned afterwards there is going to be a big, big tidy up of my two rooms after Christmas. Call it a New Year's resolution, perhaps not as it won't happen if I do. Also I am going to promise myself not to purchase any more craft materials but to make 2017 as the year I use all what I have available. As I approach my 70th birthday I feel materials must be used!
Here is my swimming noodle Christmas wreath all finished and hung on the front door.
Although on Friday it had to come indoors as we have had some terrific storms over the weekend leading to our dry river beds becoming rivers and fast flowing into the sea. This is the Med on Sunday morning, but today it is quite blue again. We certainly needed the rain but not in the amount we received.
That is it for this Wednesday I wish you all the joy of Christmas and a Healthy and Peaceful 2017.

Hi Ani,
ReplyDeleteI agree on 1. Tidy up my room. 2. Use up what I have. The theory is good but as you say the practice isn't so easy.
Wondeful effect on that swimming noodle it's simply amazing, well done on persevering through it all!
Blessings upon you as we remember Jesus' birthday and a happy, healthy 2017.
Happy WOYWW!!

Love the wreath - very pretty. I need a big sort out after Christmas, i use my dining room to craft in (it's only used as a dining room when all family are here) and some of my things have gone into the boxes that decoration have come out of - so will have a sort when they come out after Christmas. Have both sons and families here - yippee so need my dining room!!

The wreath turned out beautifully. Looks like quite some waves there. It's been cold here though it is supposed to warm up. Happy Christmas to you and your family.

Your swimming noodle Christmas wreath is absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with keeping your promise to use what you have available and to not buy any new crafting goodies-I rarely make it to February before I see something that I really need..!
Have a Merry Christmas

Your wreath turned out perfectly! Who knew you could make wreath from a noodle! LOL! If I had that view of the ocean, I would happily put up with some rain! When we get rain, it turns the snow to slush, then it freezes, and we have a freezing cold mess! You have a lovely view of the Med, I'm glad it's nice and blue again! Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas! Lindart #28
ReplyDeleteLove that wreath, looks really bright and cheerful.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Christmas, lots of hugs and laughter.

Happy WOYWW and Merry Christmas. I saw those storms over Spain in our weather forecast. We had a holiday in Mojacar just after that really awful storm which swept away part of the new motorway. Your festive wreath is great - so colourful. Ali x #10
ReplyDeleteI can't believe there's a swimming noodle in that wreath, it looks amazing! We saw those storms on the TV, glad you are ok.

Hello Ani. Your noodle wreath is beautiful I love the idea. I also feel the same way as my crafty stash has been still growing and even though I have given and sold some it still seems larger then what a life time can use. Have a very Merry Christmas and all the best to you this holiday season. hugs ~Anne L#2
ReplyDeleteWhy is it called a noodle wreath please, I have never heard of that one. I do like it, did you make it yourself?
ReplyDeleteDon't mention not buying, I think I could stock a shop but I still see things I want although I have cut down tremendously on my shopping.
Wishing you all the best for the Christmas Season and wishing you a Very Happy and Lucky New Year.
`Hugs, Neet (thanks for visiting me the other day)
Hi Neet, the reason it is called a swimming noodle is because the base is one of those swimming polystyrene noodles curved round and taped at the top. Wishing you a joyous Christmas.
