WOYWW 576

Good morning,
Below is what it is all about coming out of lockdown and being able to celebrate my birthday with my friends. What a celebration it was to. We will say no more except you will all get there.

So to my desk this was taken at 6.00am Christmas card making trying to make quick and easy ones that I can put in packs of 6 as I found last year these sold rather than individual ones.
Nothing else exciting there the hand cream was a birthday present from a friend who was sick of me complaining about dry hands because of constant washing of them and the other bottle is sun cream.

So that is me for this week off to sewing/knitting group this morning and LOL (Ladies of Leisure) this afternoon, back to my busy Wednesdays.
Hope you all have a good week and stay safe.
Gone back to the old blogger site hopefully will have some time to investigate the new one this week.

  3. So glad you had a good birthday with friends Ann. Looks like the social distancing has been relaxed in Spain. I hope that we can get back to normal with school in September as I am desperate to catch up properly with my students and start face to face lessons again. We won't be able to do that if the rules can't be relaxed by then. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #8.

  7. Well, happy returns, you kept that quiet! fab to be able to be with the gals after all this time, looks as if you had a lot of fun. Your desk is a fine example to us all, but I’m not sure when I’ll be following! interesting that packs were more popular than individuals; super impressed tha you’re getting ahead!

  8. How lovely that you managed to have a get together for your birthday - so many people have missed out. We have got quite creative here doing birthday videos - last weekend we took part in a birthday celebration/pseudo eurovision for one of my daughter's friends. Our video included my daughter miming and me and her dad wearing sequins (lots of sequins) and dancing in the back. We laughed a lot while we were recording it but we came third so it couldn't have been that bad. We won't forget that birthday. Good idea about the packs of Christmas cards cos I find they don't sell as single items (unless very posh and/or specific - like 'mum' - and of course you have never got the one they ask for!!). Great to hear good news from your end, we are still weeks, if not months away. Happy WOYWW, Stay safe, Stay well, Love n hugs Cindy #11

  9. Oh how lovely to celebrate with friends. Happy belated birthday, it looks like you had a good one. Your desk is looking very productive, although I can't think about Christmas quite yet, not when it's hot outside!
Hope you have a great week,

  10. Happy Belated, Annie !! It is so nice to be together again I can imagine. Christmas card in the summer has a strange feeling to me but again that was happened at my place too.

  11. You seem to have a thriving business there with the card making. I must have missed you last week as I have just read it and would say that I use glue to stick my inserts in. A long time ago I found something old'ish of mine had fallen in bits with the sticky tape turning brown and losing its glue. I use a glue in a tube with a fine nozzle similar to Cosmic Shimmer (I use Honey Doo's own but you might not get it over there).
Happy Belated Birthday Greetings to you, looks as if you all had a lovely meal, must have been great to get out like that.
Have to investigate the new Blogger yet, will try it out later this week.
    Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  14. Hi Ani, yes I can see that packs would sell better than individual ones. I think people only buy single cards for 'special' people- parents etc. The food looks amazing, so happy you got to have a proper birthday celebration. Stay safe, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #16 X

  18. So happy to read that you are coming out of lockdown and managed a Birthday gathering. Mine in April was on Zoom - and another Birthday cake in May for my Mum meant that I had to clear a lot of wax off my screen! However here in Australia restrictions are now beginning to lift...Stay well Susan #39
