Good morning ladies just a quick one this morning and nothing much going on around my working tables. The first photo is the wool stash a friend gave me a few weeks ago and the second one my actual work station. There has been work going on in the making of Easter cards, my grandson's birthday card (where do the years go doesn't seem 5 mins since I was cradling him after he was born) he is 15 next week.

Off early this morning to pick my car up from the garage, found a very wet smelly floor on Friday the mechanic thought it could be something to do with the radiator pipes. Anyway he rung last night to say it was ready. Will have to make a load of cards and sell them to pay the bill! So have to be on the 8.55 bus to pick it up and then I can go on to my knit and knatter group. I have been virtually housebound without it, a car is a necessity where I live. We only have one half hourly local bus that goes along the beach road and back and we didn't have that twenty years ago.
So forgive my haste.

Good morning all

A little action on the work table this morning. The pink bag contains my knitting ready for the knit and natter this morning. Note the chair is still covered every night to stop one cat from scratching or sleeping on it.

I have been making some Easter cards, I find colouring in so relaxing. These are quick and easy to do no fancy work, and just what people want.

Monday was my Dames in Spain (WI) meeting we had a very enlightening talk from a lady who organises Coastal Cleaners Andalucia. This is a local group formed because of the rubbish left on our beaches and they clean where the cleaning tractor can't get to places like the rocky coves. I thought I did my bit to help this situation but after hearing her talk I am most certainly going to do a fair bit more.

Good morning from a sunny Spain, this is the morning sunrise. At this time of the year we get spectacular sunrises.

My desk this week isn't very exciting I have been out and about enjoying myself. The score board has a repair tried to glue it back together as it split in half. The only trouble is the line of glueing has made it alot narrower. Think I may treat myself to a new one. The red card can only mean one thing - Valentine cards.

This is one reason why pleasure has taken over from work this week. A trip out into the hills for afternoon tea.

 We sat outside in the lovely sunshine sipping cava, before going inside for tea. First pic before, second pic after. Apologies to Ena looks as if she has eaten all!

5th February
Good Morning to all deskers.
Well normal service has resumed in the Marshall household. Back to work after a very extended break and my quality controller is keeping half an eye on things.

Needed to make some different cards so thought I would have a go at a concertina/accordian card. I am quite pleased with the finished results but needs a few tweaks. Also with the different layers it becomes very heavy and postage is expensive from Spain so instead of using card will be looking for patterned paper.

Below is a photo of some of my knit and natter group, we are at our temporary venue for another couple of weeks. As you can see a fair amount of coffee is drunk in these two hours. We have knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, just about anything that makes up crafting and at the moment that can be carried up two flights of stairs!

Someone put this on fb last week fortunately my cat has learnt to sit on the arm of the chair and not touch my wool as I knit!
