Thank you to all who visited last week and for your kind comments, I was sorry not to leave a comment on every blog but I did read most of them, good bedtime reading.
Last week my sewing group had lunch after our meeting and thought you might like to see my pud. I adore raspberries so couldn't resist and this was how it was served. Each person had a different picture.
So what's on the work desk this week well the same as last week with extra things piled on top. When everything stops balancing then is the time for a sort out and put away.
I decided to make some cards this week with all bits and pieces, cut offs and the tapes. The tapes need to be used as the adhesive doesn't last long here in Spain.
Then thought about Easter so cut a cross out not sure what to do with it yet.
Note the Liquorice Allsorts, these were a Valentines pressie, and my cuppa of lemon and ginger tea. I haven't been able to drink ordinary tea since becoming pregnant with my daughter over 47 years ago although strangely enough she drinks tea.
Must confess I have bought some more wool just loved the colour, buying wool is becoming an addiction with me perhaps I need help.
Will link up with our host Julia for WOYWW at http://stamping- ground.blogspot.co.uk/
If you pay a visit to my site please leave a comment it is always good to hear from you and know where you live.

I'm not sure the raspberry tart would have lasted long enough to hotograph it had it been mine! Yum! What a feel good factor to use up some odds and ends too! Happy WOYWW! Anne #7
ReplyDeleteOh, tell me about it! I'm a wool addict too and got more this week, although I DID have to spend a Christmas voucher (good excuse huh?!)
ReplyDeleteThe dessert was a work of art and great fun!

You've had me with the cats and dogs in the header! Such cutie pies! You can always use some glue to stick down your tapes if they lose their adhesive properties. I normally do anyway because I suspect in a few years they would peel off, even if they're sticky to start with. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #23
ReplyDeleteHi Ani, Like Zsuzsa, I love your header. I'm a total sucker for cats! The desert looks lovely, how clever to make them all look different. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxXxX
ReplyDeleteooh nice tart! can't wait to see what you do with all that tape...I'd go with saving it and usingthe glue stick when I wanted it at a later date.. dx #24
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW! Lovely raspberries - look really yummy. Can't wait to see what you do with your crafty goodies.

I'm going to get me a cup of hot coco and eat my biscuit after seeing your lovely raspberry tart. didn't know washi tape lost it's little adhesion it has, good to know, because i kinda am addicted among other things to buying washi tape. happy WOYWW, Vicky #22
ReplyDeleteLovely treat! And how creative of the chef to make a different pic on every plate! I find washi tape doesn't stick well anywhere, so I always add glue to it, usually matte medium. Have fun with your cardmaking! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #40
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteOh, I spotted the washi tape right off! Hobby Lobby was having a 50% off sale so I increased my stash by quite a bit!
Your desserts look amazing - and a different image on each plate! Wow. Very fun.
You mention you'd like to know where people are from. I live in the mountains of northern New Mexico. We are about 7500 feet high and do get snow. Usually people think of New Mexico as desert and we are not. Lovely aspen and pine trees.
Happy WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay (41)
You had me at that adorable header photo of the dog and kitties! Oh, my goodness! Love it! ok, great way to use your bits of tape. I need to do that only, with ribbon! I save every little bit of ribbon. Happy WOYWW!

Hi Ani, your dessert looks delicious - raspberries are my favourite fruit so I'd have plumped for that one too. Your desk looks incredibly busy but it could be all that washi tape that is making me think that. I learn something new every day, today it was about washi tape - never thought that it would have a shorter shelf life in Spain. I just take it for granted that tape will stay tacky a very long time here in Scotland. The wool is indeed a lovely colour. Hope you have a good week. Elizabeth x #35
ReplyDeleteOooo yes! Love that cool color! Have fun using it! Patsy
ReplyDeleteThat pile of washi tape looks like FUN! And that is a beautiful color of wool!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have been busy Anne. Mmmm....that yarn looks familiar! Hope, you enjoy working with it! See you soon. Xx
ReplyDeleteI can't see anything as I am completely distracted by the fruit tart Lol! Have a great weekend and happy belated woyww, Angela x 17
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I haven't been able to stomach ordinary tea since I was pregnant with my son. That was 20 years ago. I like ginger and lemon too. My morning brew is rooibos though. My husband calls it sawdust tea! Sorry it's taken so long for me to return your visit. Half Term here. The finished balloon cards are on my blog today. Thanks for stopping by.

I am very sorry about the incredibly late peek Turns out working on a Wednesday and joining in WOYWW don't go together - so I will just have to have Wednesdays off! The raspberry cake design is phenomenal, great attention to detail, how lovely. I treat my desk the same as you do, when it starts falling off the side of it, I will sort it out. Weird about the tea. All my mum could drink the entire 9 months with me was tea, and I find it utterly repunant-milk or not. I got into herbal teas instead-peppermint, nettle, fennel and chamomile mostly. They are so yummy. I know what you mean about the wool thing. I can be highly drawn to wanting to buy wool just because it's orange, purple or mint, but have to remind myself that I don't knit!
