Good morning a quick write up before I go to knit/sewing group. Well we thought the rains had gone, and with temperatures of 28C were beginning to rejoice that summer was coming. No such luck and easter isn't looking promising.
So what is on my desk? I am sorting out for the C time of year actually packing them up in preparation for October time.
The jumper I have started is progressing slowly, I am hoping I have enough wool as it is from my stash, a cardigan I started years ago and then lost the pattern! The wool is Stylecraft Vision and is not available today.
That's me done so a quick link up to Julia at https://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ and I am on my way.
Have a good easter everyone.
I am sorry your rain has come back, I hope not all of Easter is wet for you. the jumper is looking good, I do hope you have enough wool! Happy WOYWW Helen #2
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, the weather is weird isn’t it, I’m very glad you have strong safety to retreat to. We thought we were leaving just as everything was improved. The beaches at La Cala were being ‘mended’, lots of diggers and lots of rubbish thrown onto the sand, I hope they weren’t a bit previous in starting the work. For once, our Easter weekend is set fair. I love the Meadow blanket, what a great set of colours it is, and I like the colours in the long lost jumper too! I was searching for a letter yesterday, I can’t find it anywhere, I even asked myself if I imagined receiving it…so, like your pattern, I’m expecting to find it within a good few years!!
ReplyDeleteWell done for sorting out the C stuff ready for October, I think you have every reason to feel quite smug about that, I would! With the cards, maybe do the back and front pieces first and then, if you think there’s not enough, do the sleeves in a contrasting colour, it would work nicely!

I hope the weather improves for you Ani. Your cardigan looks lovely. It may be worth asking on one of the Facebook knitting and crochet groups to see if anyone has any? There were lots of Vision patterns on eBay but not your shade. At least you can do the facings and cuffs in one of the colours.
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Hope you get some sunshine over Easter. It’s a rainy day here today and sunshine is definitely needed. Lovely colours in your cardigan. I hope you can find a solution. Happy WOYWW. Angela #6
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty wool Ani - hope you have enough for the cardigan. Keeping fingers crossed for warmer weather as well. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12
ReplyDeleteThis weather is all mixed up everywhere - just hope you and the north of the UK get some sunshine for Easter. We need a bit of something to brighten us up.
ReplyDeleteHope that cardigan get finished with the wool you have.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
The weather does seem to be all over the place, it's warm and sunny here right now but was raining earlier but guess that's typical of the UK at this time of the year. Still we have our crafting to keep us busy so that's a good thing. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteHappy late WOYWW. Sorry to hear that you have more rain on the way. It has been the same with our friends up in Northern Costa Blanca - a lot of damage and mess. It is calmer in the UK, although chilly (and doesn't help that our underfloor heating stopped working yesterday - and can't get a heating engineer here until next week). Hope you enjoyed your group today. Ali x #19
ReplyDeleteHellooo Ani 🤗 despite the weather change that photo is beautiful with the sky 💕 well done on getting organised for C time 😘 Loving the wool you're using for your jumper 🤞 fingers crossed you have enough wool. Have a gorgeous week ahead in all you do. Love and hugs Tracy #14 xxxx
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Ani! Are those paw stockings? So cute! I never put holiday craft away. Too many things to make and not enough time. Hope you enjoyed group time! Creative Blessings! ~Kelly
