Buenas tardes,
A little late today but didn't arise until 8.30am and have to be out of the house for my knitting group by 9.30am. So before I prepare my lunch here is what I have been up to over the past week. Not a great deal.
My teddy family is increasing and will be soon taking over if I don't find an outlet for them.
Looking into doing some crocheting but can't make up my mind if to do the browny granny throw ready for next winter, or the single bed cover also for next winter. Both patterns are from Attic 24.
I have also sorted some summer reading as the weather is slowly becoming summery. The wine makes a good book end, wonder how long it will be there, was a present from a friend.
That is me for today not much going on but hey something is better than nothing.
Saying that my garden looks good!
Now to link up with Julia at https://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ and see what the rest of you have been up to over the past week.
Hope you enjoyed your knitting group. We are hoping to be able to start opening the craft group again at the end of the month. Not sure that bottle will stay there for long. Maybe you could fill it with sand once it's empty and decorate the outside then it could become a permanent fixture. Happy creative woyww, Angela x19x
ReplyDeleteYour teddies are great (I scrolled down to the previous post) - my son was given one very similar to these when he was born and he couldn't do without it until he was about 12 - it looks like roadkill now but can still be found carefully tucked into his bed! Love the use of the wine bottle, but can't imagine it staying there long. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#9)
ReplyDeletethe wool - both lots- look lovely - hope you decide which to start with! Enjoy the wine - although then the books may fall over! Take care. Happy WOYWW Helen #4
ReplyDeleteNow what do you mean about the wine bottle? Does it mean it might stay there forever or has no chance? Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteIf the weather is nice, which I imagine it is, I would use the pretty pastel shades last to brighten up not so good days.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx
Hi Ani. Oh my - what a choice... I suppose you could work on both at the same time, to avoid the choice making... but then it takes up twice as much room in your home while being done...
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of reading matter! I have a pile of books beside my bed awaiting a trip out in the caravan!
Take care. God bless.

Good that you made it Ani - hope you had fun with your group. Love the colours whichever project you choose to do, Enjoy the summer reading and the wine lol. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteLovely yarn - Attic 24 always does great patterns. I missed out on my knitting this week due to the crap weather. Our garden is all a bit windswept at the moment. Maybe next week. Enjoy the book&wine combo as well.
ReplyDeleteCatching up, a day late

Oooh Ani, I just love those brown/neutral yarns! Fabulous. I got some new wool cones this week - black, creamy white and charcoal grey - the kitty throw has used up a lot more yarn than I expected and I don't want to run out!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Nice row of books....I’ve read The Tea Planters Wife and The Book Thief and am interested in Andalusia, will away and look that out! So glad the weather is starting to feel a bit summery, i hues lockdown has contributed to the feeling that it’s been a long winter and a cold spring! Still cold here, frost again this morning, my poor hardened off summer plants must be wondering if they’ll ever be allowed out of their pots! I love both of those attic 24 projects, so am not going to be any help in suggesting which to start first!
ReplyDeleteSorry II'm late was so sure I'd already been! Both those patterns look really nice. Why not do them both! The colours are lovely. I was thinking, once the wine has been drunk, you could fill the bottle with sand so it still stays heavy enough to support the books. Stay safe, Keep crafting! Happy WOYWW?! ((Lyn)) #6
ReplyDeleteHi Ani - just popping by to have a sneaky look - I am back to WOYWW after a long time out so seeing who's who and what's what LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHope to catch up again soon - Cheers Maurs #33 xxx
Still trying to catch up with my commenting! Yesterday was Mother's Day here in Australia so after a lovely lunch and lots of fizz I didn't get anything else done...
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a few books sorted out!!
Interested to see which crochet you decide upon...
Happy Woyww!
