WOYWW 546

Winter has definitely come to our part of Spain, this past week it has been quite chilly, fleeces out and heating on in the evenings.
The Christmas fairs have started but I didn't take a stall at our local church one, instead I offered my services on a church stall. I just felt I hadn't the energy to collect all my things together and load the car up - still not a 100% breathing wise.

I went to my Dames in Spain meeting on Monday I always take my cards with me and this week sold 17 cards so Tuesday has been spent replacing some stock and this is my desk Tuesday evening.
Hardly any working space, the cards I am making are from recycled cards from last year. Have to use all I can get my hands on as there are no craft shops where I live.

Finally I have a overseer as I type this, think she is annoyed because she can't sit on my knee where it is cosy warm.

That is it for this week off to link with Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

  1. I think recycling your card like that is a great idea. Well done for selling that many at the stall. It's pretty chilly here too, heating is turned up! Helen #2

  2. Morning Ai. It is indeed pretty chilly here - and, yes, my heating is on too - not just in the evenings but through the day as I am in a lot of the time. There has already been a good amount of snow on the mountains. Selling all those cards - well done! Recycling card fronts is always a great idea.
    Take care. God bless.

  3. Hi Ani, it has gone quite cold here too, but to be truthful, it suits me, as I can breathe better in cooler air. I know all about how much of a struggle it is to do anything whilst getting breathless, last week even texting on my phone got me short of breath!Take it steady, you will get there. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 X

  4. Glad you're on the mend! You definitely did the right thing not taking a stall on your own, too much pressure. Well done on selling the cards, you obviously know how to please your audience!

  9. And they say cat's aren't as needy as dogs!! She's beautiful too. No point in pushing yourself when you are still not feeling one hundred percent. There will always be another fair another time. Well done with the sales of cards. I reuse cards all the time - not because there are no craft shops nearby, although there aren't, but because all too often they are just too nice to throw away. Hope you are feeling much better soon. Elizabeth x #16

  10. I bet it's higher than 4 degrees!! I totally get the whole packing up the car and going to a class/craft fair - it's exhausting and I definitely wonder why I do it sometimes. Hope you feel better soon.Happy WOYWW Cindy #18 xx

  12. My sister lives in Spain and she told me it was difficult to get hold of birthday cards.. She has been there a few years so things might have changed. It is lovely to have an outlet for your cards. Your overseer is beautiful :)

  15. You’re busy enough without taking on your own stalls, goodness. Bet it was a relief to make that decision! And I expect you enjoyed helping out too - much less stressful. It’s been a slow old recovery for you, hope the onset of chillier weather doesnt make it any slower.
