WOYWW 491

Another week gone soon be Christmas. Certainly feels like winter here in Spain the weather has changed dramatically this week with rain and some cold winds.

With colder weather and having to stay indoors more crafting gets done. So this week a jumper I starting knitting for Christmas last year and didn't finish, just needs to be sewn up now and the neck done. I will be taking it to Knit and Natter this morning probably come back and have to undo it as with all the talking we do .......
Really need it for the fairs if the weather continues as all our fairs are held outdoors.

Also finished are two Christmas trees and another four in the process. Spent most of yesterday morning just trying to find the rings to hang them with. Could buy split rings for keys but I didn't want this. You cannot understand the difficulty I have trying to find things where I live. If there is a downside to living here it is the lack of shops etc.

They are both the same size just the camera angle.

Well must away and get ready to go to the Knit and Natter group, need to find my hat, gloves and scarf - no only joking but will certainly need a coat this morning.

Will be around to read all later now to link with Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

WOYWW 490

Good morning everyone.
I feel as I am playing catch up so much to do because of my long summer vacation from the craft world.

As you can see I am still working on the triangle Christmas trees am aiming for at least 10 to be finished by the first fair on 24th November.

Wonder if anyone can help please I am looking to make some fabric advent calenders but cannot think of an easy way to do the numbers on the pockets. I don't have any number dies and have tried stamping them on but this is not successful. So any comments will be gratefully received. Remember I live in an area of Spain where craft shops and almost any other shops apart from tourist tat are to hand. Also cannot always guarantee the postal/courier service.

Well that's me for today short and sweet am now off to my sewing/knitting group.

WOYWW 489

Yes folks it's me back from hibernation not from the winter cold but the Spanish summer heat. This summer has been unbearably hot so much so that crafting has been almost impossible. The most I have managed are knitted squares and prem baby hats and only this with the help of baby powder for dusting my sweaty hands.
Now my work tables are in full production again, firstly cards at the beginning of the week then the triangle Christmas trees. I have booked four fairs so have to get going the first is 24th November.

Now as well as the cat that sits on the desk I have to contend with Barney who likes to sit under the table well not quite he is too big to get under! Yes he has grown and is not 10 months old.

I have been reading all (well most) of the posts over the summer so have kept up with your interesting crafts and busy lives.
