I'm no expert but it looks to me like a Sardinian warbler. Have a look here and see what you think. The beautiful bee-eaters are back too. Have you seen them? Nice to find someone else around here with a dedicated craft room. You sound a bit disillusioned about life out here, but you have been living here long enough to remember the 'before'. I too have just heard about the babies in Huercal Overa hospital and I was quite shocked to learn there is such a need so close to home. That's him it was the red eyes that were so distinctive. I thought at first it was red eye on the camera but no.Thanks for that Kate.
